What's new in ranked 2?

At the heart of Ranked 2.0 sits a refreshed progression path, with Ubisoft having totally revised the Rainbow Six ranks and division structure. Following the deployment of Operation Solar Raid, there will be five divisions present within each rank.

How does ranked 2.0 work in Rainbow Six?

Ranked 2.0 has separated the Skill (MMR) and the visible rank of the players. Now, Ranked Points (RP) will be the main source of progression instead of MMR. However, MMR will still be used for matchmaking and to determine how many RP you’ll gain or lose.
